Through dual tests of manual tearing and machine stretching, clear grading results were obtained, providing a scientific basis for material selection in different fields.


This test covered 6 types of base fabrics including suede, mesh fabric, German fabric, French terry, knitted fabric, and nowoven.
According to their warp and weft tear performance, the fabrics were divided into three grades:
3 fabrics showed excellent performance in both warp and weft tear tests and were rated as Grade S, suitable for scenarios with high durability requirements such as automotive interiors and outdoor products;
1 fabric had outstanding one-way tear strength and was rated as Grade A, meeting the daily use needs of home decoration and bags;
2 fabrics had average comprehensive performance and were rated as Grade C, applicable for temporary use and low-cost application scenarios.


The test results fully verify that high-quality base fabrics can significantly improve the tear resistance of synthetic leather and extend product service life.
